Hello! My name is Kade Hambel and I am in my 5th year at OSU. I am in the Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife program specializing in Forestry and Wildlife with a minor in Soil Science. Ecological restoration is a field that I am highly interested in so from this class I am hoping to gain more knowledge on the anatomy and taxonomy of plants so I can be more effective in the work that I do.

For my coat of arms, I first began by drawing a picture of my 3 cats, Bunny, Jingles and Carrot, who are pictured below.  In the top right I included the quote “Being kind is a wonderful legacy to leave behind”, it is the second part of a longer quote from Taylor Swift that I like as I believe the world could use more kindness. I am from Zanesville, Ohio and still live there today.

This is our adult cat Jingles and he just turned 6!

This is Carrot (Left) and Bunny (Right). These two are just over a year and a half old and believe it or not they are brother and sister!
