Hello! My name is Justin Carr and I’m a third year Political Science major at The Ohio States main campus in Columbus. I’ll be utilizing this website to share information that I learn during my experience in Keys to Online Success. As a student I’ve achieved many things I did not think myself possible of. I will graduate from The Ohio State University in 2018 with a degree in Political Science. From there I hope to attend Law School.
Although I’m a student, many of the things I’ve learned didn’t come from a classroom. As a Senior Airman in the United States AirForce, I’ve learned countless lessons about respect and discipline. I hope to continuously utilize the things I’ve learned in the military as a student. The discipline I’ve gained is enormously helpful in reinforcing my desire to meet deadlines and excel as a student.
I’ve also had the great fortune of being able to study abroad in Japan, which was an eye-opening event for me that led me to gain great respect and interest for other cultures besides just my own. I always have great interest in working abroad. I’m currently working on expanding my Chinese language speaking ability and will visit China in the summer of 2017. I feel that I am someone who wants to see the world, and help the world as I do so. As Asia gains more and more importance on the world stage, understanding and cooperation will become paramount to maintaining peace. I hope to someday help facilitate this peace and progress between America and these budding countries.
