G.O.A.L.S.

Global Awareness: In trying to cultivate my global awareness, I have become involved in Ohio State’s chapter of UNICEF. UNICEF is an organization dedicated to providing humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries. At OSU, we are dedicated to advocacy, education, and fundraising for UNICEF. The proceeds of the UNICEF Ball taking place this January go to Syrian Refugee children.

Original Inquiry: I am becoming PADI Open Water Scuba Certified so that I will be able to expand my studies of the Environment to the Ocean in hopes of learning more as well as finding ways to protect the Earth’s reefs.

Academic Enrichment: I will be conducting scientific research at Lake Katherine Nature Center in Palos Hills, Illinois this summer.

Leadership Development: I am proud to be on the Executive Board of Unicef Ohio State, to help defend the rights of children everywhere.

Service Engagement: I actively participate in Unicef Ohio State, Best Food Forward, and Enlighten to better serve my fellow buckeyes and people everywhere.
