Welcome to my blog. I’m a second baccalaureate student at The Ohio State University, currently pursuing a double major in Russian and Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Aviation. I’m also an international medical graduate from Lima, Peru.
I am in the process of self-discovery and have a strong desire to learn about many things, including spirituality, languages, literature, the arts, music, history, science and technology. You will find such kind of posts in this blog, which is an exploration of my interests.
As part of an inner struggle to understand learning, I am searching ways to learn more effectively and efficiently. Learning to learn is what this blog is also about. Here, I cover themes such as the process of learning, learning environments, understanding attitudes towards learning, shortcuts to learning, mental health as a foundation for adequate learning, mindfulness and learning, and preparing for the learning process.
Not long ago I came across a TED Talk, where I heard Celeste Headlee talk about how useless and detrimental it is to write a blog. Maybe she is right, but hey, if you got this far into my content that means I am at least somewhat engaging.
