Several types of screening tests can be used to find polyps or coloretal cancer. The tests may be used alone or in combination, depending on several factors. Meigs County (CRC) Resources are available to help you.
Screening tests are recommended for all women and men between the ages of 50 and 75 using colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy or fecal occult blood testing (FOBT). Learn more about the different types of screening tests in CDC’s tool.
Talk with your doctor to determine what tests are right for you. If you are in need of medical or financial assistance and are unable to get a doctors referral, please contact one of the resources listed below.
