My name is Elizabeth Jones , I go by Liz, I graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2016 with my MSN, FNP. I am currently working at Jones Family Practice as a full time primary care provider. I also work for Carolina’s Research Center as a sub-investigator. The above picture was taken at the AANP national conference in June 2019, when I participated in the “I am a real NP” photo shoot.
I obtained my undergraduate ADN At Cleveland Community College through the foothills nursing consortium program. I obtained my BSN through UNC-Charlotte. I am currently enrolled in my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) clinical expert track here at The Ohio State University, my projected graduation time is May of 2021.
I am married and between myself and my husband we have 4 children and 2 granddaughters. We have 3 dogs. I love to learn new things and spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy kayaking and swimming. I find my “me” time at the local YMCA during my daily exercise program.
I love my job as a family nurse practitioner, I love the diversity that is seen daily and the normal days as well as the challenging days. I always say that any one who thinks family practice is boring has never done it.
