Hello, my name is Nirmit Jindal, and I am a freshmen at the Ohio State University. My hometown for the entirety of my life has been Dublin, Ohio, where I grew up with a family of 4 and a superfluous amount of friends. I went to Dublin Jerome High School from which I now came to OSU. I believe that the major reason that I chose to attend OSU over any other college was the fact that it so close to home and the amount of opportunities that it had to offer in any field possible. The amount of research opportunities, volunteering experiences, and hospital rotations continue to amaze me, as it increases my ability as a med school applicant and as a person in general. Within OSU, I am pursuing a major in neuroscience with pre-med track, while also being involved in Health Science Scholars. My ultimate goal is to go to Medical school and become an Orthopedic Surgeon. My passion for medicine droves me through the long term commitment that I have to make in order to become what I want. Alongside medicine, I also have hobbies in soccer, video games, reading, and socializing with friends.
