- Some the major aspect of G.O.A.L.S that I have work towards is Orginal Inquiry, leadership development, and service engagement. For original Inquiry I have worked with an internship/research group on campus called Human Performance Collabortive (HPC) that works in the sector of everything human performance. We research countless things and put our minds together to write up proposals for countless things in the hope of answering questions that have not yet been answered or even questioned.
- For leadership developments I have taken various leadership courses that Have all taught me different things from the styles of leadership to how to go about it in the type of environment that you are in. It has opened up my eyes for sure on my own leadership style and the values that I hold close to myself that influence that. Also being within different orgs on campus that mostly relate to my identity has helped me to expand myself on a personal level.
- Lastly is service engagement and I am volunteering now at Broad street achievement programs which has a focus on providing youth a safe and appropriate space for academic learning, one-to-one schoolwork coaching, and afterschool extended learning time. I know this will definitely be helpful to me as a person and cant wait to see where it takes me.
- Ive really excelled in Orginal inquiry because I feel as if the research that I am doing helps me to focus on what I may want to do with my life since its so broad and covers a whole range of topic.
