The final object that I am creating is a floor poof in a cylindrical shape, it will be reminiscent of my tool in shape, but also thought the patterning.
I have layered my crochet work on top of a paper sketch that I will be using to guide my color changes. This will be the top of the poof along with the patterning it will have.
This is a spiral crocheting method that begins in at a central point, it builds outwards. I plan to combine this with the tapestry crocheting method in the previous post.
Very excited about where this is going, Caroline
Curious to what form this might take. Knowing that the tapestry crocheting techniques bring in the illustrative (lines, shapes etc.) but also can refer to form- something flat that hangs on a wall. The spiraling technique you are testing can be either 2D or 3D (and of course I am wondering about 4D possiblities! but for the moment will stay in 2D or 3D conversations).
