Application of Engineering Principles

Heating a fluid is a critical step in many processes. Temperatures must be maintained at a certain level and must also be energy and power efficient. The following is a sample of my work regarding a problem on the pre-heating of a nutrient medium, given the dimensions of a heat exchanging pipe.

The work shown for this problem describes how I fulfill ABET outcome (1): Engineering programs must demonstrate that their students attain an ability to “identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.”
