About Me

Biography

My name is Sarah Jarvis and I am from Lisbon, Ohio. I am a third-year Meat Science major, minoring in International Economic and Social Development. I am Treasurer of the Meat Science Club, Representative in CFAES Student Council for the Meat Science Department, Censor for Alpha Zeta Partners Honorary Fraternity, and a member of the Crops and Soils Club.

Why I decided to pursue Global Option

I have completed two study abroad trips to Trinidad and Tobago and Brazil. These two trips satisfied a large portion of the requirements for the Global Option. The Global Option is a great addition to my portfolio and allows me to continue building upon my travel experiences. Classes within the Global Option supplement my experiences and have allowed me to become a more well-rounded individual.

My Goal for Global Options

Within the Global Option, I hope to expand upon my global knowledge base and explore other countries’ economic and social statuses. I am looking to tie the Global Option into my minor and use the two to complement each other. I want to broaden my horizons and delve into areas outside of agriculture of the meat industry to become more knowledgeable on a global level.
