• Description: Otedama, bean bags used typically by girls to play a juggling game similar to jacks or knucklebones. Traditionally made out of kimono scraps, songs were often sang while playing. Once passed down from mother to daughter, or grandmother to granddaughter, the popularity of otedama had been declining in recent years.
