Paper Napkin

- Description: Paper napkins, kaishi, are used when the guest is given sweets from the host at a tea ceremony. They act as a plate for the sweets. Natural wood chopsticks, kuromoji, are cleaned with the corner of the paper after they are used to transfer the sweets as a sign of cleanliness.
