Happi Coat

- Description: A traditional Japanese coat made out of brown or indigo cotton, and primarily worn at festivals. Featuring a family or organization crest (mon), they were originally worn by house servants, shop workers, and fire fighters as a means of indicating the family or organization they worked for. Presently, they are most commonly seen at festivals, however they are also worn by fans at baseball games, or by store workers during special events.
