• Description: Originally flat wooden paddles used to play a game called hanetsuki, hagoita are now commonly sold as good luck charms and decorative items.  They are often adorned with various images of kabuki actors, celebrities, anime characters, and elaborate accessories.  They are commonly sold at festivals.
