Hiragana Writing Pencil Board

- Description: A flat board, usually made out of plastic and placed under a piece of paper for writing purposes. They are used to prevent unwanted markings on the surface below, and to provide a smooth writing surface. Often decorated with various pictures and themes, they have become a popular collector’s item to some. This specific example features the Japanese alphabet known as hiragana.
