- Description: Many traditions are done during the winter holidays. New Year’s is one of the long traditions when osechi-ryori is eaten, a special dish eaten with a variety of ingredients. In the past, people used to make the dish at their home, however today, many order the osechi through various ads. Christmas cakes and decorations have also become a tradition brought from Western culture.
