I have been a clinical nurse specialist for 15 years, specializing in the critical care population. I have strong teaching skills with experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and simulation training. I am a content expert in evidence-based practice and implementation science. I bring an organized, detailed-oriented and enthusiastic approach to adult learning and am interested in transitioning to the academic environment. I want to provide nursing students with a positive and memorable learning experience and a strong foundation at the beginning of their career.

- Performed and coordinated immediate post-operative nursing care for cardiac (CABG and valve replacement) patients including: monitored vital signs, EKG, hemodynamics and oxygenation; titrated IV drips involving inotropes, vasodilators, vasopressors, and anti-arrhythmics.
- Provided ventilatory support and extubation care. Performed cardiac arrest care and support, involving IV push drugs and defibrillation. Provided and monitored pacemaker, chest tube and incisional care.
