Below are ways that I was able to incorporate creating concepts in my teaching segments
Mobile Learning Activity:
During the mobile learning activity Susan, Josh and I created ways to use technology to assist students in the classroom. Here are examples I thought of that would incorporate creating:
Creating:
- Google Drive/Buckeye Box- have students collaborate together to create presentations, videos, etc. to present content learned in class and teach to the rest of the students (CJ & SS)
Flipped Classroom Student Led Lesson:
During the final activity Narmada and I had planned, students would have been asked to design a flipped classroom model that they could use in their own classroom.
Both Micro-Teaching Lessons:
During the activities I engaged the students in during both of my Micro-teaching segments, I asked to students to design ways to include cloud computing and social media in their own classroom. The cloud computing activity was completed during a discussion breakout session that students were asked to participate in and report out. During the social media lesson students contributed their thoughts in groups using a GoogleDoc to report out their ideas to the rest of the class.
