Christmas Trees to Counseling: A Winding Career Path to a Job I love

Ann MacDonald, outpatient behavioral health counselor and trainer for National Youth Advocate Program, will share her career path and give advice to students interested in pursuing a smilar one/ She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio State, and a master’s degree in education from Bowling Green State University and is a licensed social worker. MacDonald will also talk about the challenges and joys of a career in psychology.

Introspect Psychology invites all students and faculty with an interest in Psychology to learn about this academic area at the Newark campus and what to expect after graduation. Explore Introspect Psychology Club, Psi Chi National Honor Society, upcoming psychology events and research opportunities. Refreshments will be provided.

Psychology Fall Reception 2015

Do you like free snacks? Do you like to meet knew people? If so, then come to the Psychology Fall Reception!

The Fall Psychology Reception is on Monday 10/19 from 12:30pm-2:00pm in Warner Center Room 126 (The Platform).

We will have light snacks and refreshments. Come learn about some opportunities in the psychology department and meet new friends.

This years keynote speaker is Dr. Joshua Clarkson who is an assistant professor of psychology at the Univeristy of Cincinnati. He will be speaking about how and when minorities may have more influence than majorities. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about the psychology opportunities we have on campus, and of course, enjoy some free (did we mention that before?) snacks.
