On September 19, 2024, INFORMS@OSU held a well-attended Resume and Interview Workshop featuring guest speaker Josh Mills, Data Science Leader at Nationwide. With 14 years of experience in predictive modeling for Property & Casualty and Financial Services, Mills shared valuable insights into the hiring process and best practices for creating impactful resumes. As Executive-in-Residence at Nationwide’s Center for Advanced Customer Insights, his experience provided students with actionable advice for navigating the data science job market. The event took place in Baker 184 and received positive feedback from participants.

On August 28th, INFORMS OSU members and new ISE students gathered in the Baker Lab to welcome the new academic year together.

We introduced our organization, along with the upcoming schedule of events and activities. The event provided an opportunity to welcome both our new students and officers, while sharing our collective excitement to be back on campus together.
