Baby and Markers

Pictured above: a picture of the reflective markers placed on infant participants (right) in our research and how the markers show up on our computer software (left) so we are able to analyze the kinematics of the infants’ motion.

The Infant Lab at OSU investigates learning and motor development in infants. The lab utilizes techniques such as motion capture and analysis, clinical measures, and mobile paradigms. Multiple studies are currently in progress; the Infant Lab tab above provides links to the lab’s areas of interest and the current studies.
