Health Information

At Ohio State, we highly value students’ mental and physical health!

OSU has a comprehensive student health center on campus, where you can take care of most health needs you would have while in the U.S., including pharmacy services. The Wexner Medical Center, a major hospital, with an emergency room, is also located right on campus.

Students are also welcome to visit OSU’s Counseling and Consultation Service for mental health services. Appointments can be made with counselors who speak a variety of languages.

Be aware that during Orientation, prior to the start of classes, you will undergo a brief health screening, primarily to test whether you have ever been exposed to tuberculosis.

See the two tabs in this section for information on the health insurance and vaccination requirements.
