The Exchange Partner Program pairs all incoming exchange students with a current undergraduate student at Ohio State, who is prepared to answer any and all questions you have about studying and living here. Your partner can help you with understand what it’s like to be a student here, so you’ll want to take advantage of their student perspective on everything from course registration, to housing, to the best places to eat in Columbus.
Prior to arrival you will fill out a survey to help us match you with a compatible partner, and to help your partner understand in advance what kind of questions you have.
After the matches are made, you will be put in touch with your partner via e-mail, and are encouraged to communicate frequently prior to arrival. Throughout the academic year, you and your Exchange Partners will be invited to participate in activities together.
The Exchange Partners are selected through a rigorous application process, and have attended orientation meetings to understand who our incoming exchange students are, and how best to welcome and assist you. They will be very excited to make your acquaintance!
