About Me

My name is Haanya Ijaz. I am a first year student pursuing a B.S. in the Neuroscience program in the College of Arts and Sciences. Along with being in the Honors program, I am an Eminence Fellow, a scholarship program that aims to promote self inquiry and service leadership. Being involved in both the Honors and Eminence program has allowed me to grow academically and socially.

Outside of academics, I am currently involved with MSA (Muslim Student Association), BAA (Buckeyes Against Alzheimers), and Students for Refugees as a club member. In terms of volunteering, I am also involved with My Family Pantry, an organization that aims to provide free meals for families in central Ohio. Currently, I am also developing a student-led service project with Eminence. I am also interested in behavioral health research.
