IBE Honors Program students will be chosen based on academic potential (as indicated by their OSU application) and responses to IBE application essay questions. Two primary goals of the application process are to determine whether students have an understanding of the goals & objectives of the IBE program and whether students can demonstrate an ability and willingness to work with others from a variety of backgrounds in a constructive and professional manner.
The IBE program selectively recruits a cohort of thirty-six students each year. Applicants must apply for and be accepted into the honors program in engineering or business at Ohio State to be eligible.
Students admitted into the Honors College of Engineering or Fisher Honors College of Business will receive an email in their OSU inbox with more information about the IBE Application. Therefore, students interested in the IBE program should consistently check their OSU emails. You can also find the link to the application on the Fisher College of Business IBE webpage.
