New+ About ME

I am Yumu Huo, a fourth-year student majoring in arts management. My interest is in performing art, such as dance and music. During college, I worked as a marketing intern at Z Global Music Corporation in Beijing for around half a year in 2021. I helped with the pre-market research on a music production education program we corporated with the 1500 Sound Academy in Los Angeles. This educational program contains six music core courses: Composing, Lyrics Writing, Arrangement, Mixing, Artist Branding, and Music Business. Each course last for about one to two months of studying with both lectures and labs, during which students can work on assignments in the provided studio. The target audience is people who are interested in music production or musicians who want to train their skills systematically. During my working period, I collected vast quantities of information about our competitors or potential competitors who are working on similar programs. I did data analysis and marketing strategies with the help of my leader and had a summarized slide with more than 300 pages explaining the data.

After learning arts management and working in a performing art-related company during college, I realized the importance of creating and managing a platform for artists to express themselves and show their works to the public freely.
