In this guest lecture series we learned about:

• Pre-Islamic Arabia through archeology and epigraphy
• Bollywood and the role of film in India’s history
• Iranian culture and social movements

This year we explored Ohio Indian Caverns, picked pumpkins at Leed’s Farm, and saw animals at the Columbus Zoo!

The year before we went to the Franklin Park Conservatory, German Village Book Loft, Katzinger’s Deli, and Circle S Farms for pumpkin picking.

I love that our scholars group gets discounted tickets to see broadway shows at the Ohio Theater. When a new show is in town everyone gets the chance to enter a random lottery for the chance to go. I’ve been lucky enough to see Phantom of the Opera and now Aladdin!

In January we are going to see HAMILTON, I really hope to win that lottery 🙂
