Vision Statement

Seeing how much I have grown in my past two years at The Ohio State University, makes me optimistic for the rest of my two years here. My largest goal is to attend medical school after I graduate in hopes of becoming a physician. To do this, I not only have to do well in my classes as well as the MCAT, but also have a strong resume, participate in service hours and research. This trek has not been easy and I know it will continue to challenge me but in the end it is worth it.

I also want to find more leadership position whether that be through the Bio Sci scholars program, Chi Omega Sorority or another campus organization. Not only is this a great way to strengthen necessary skills for the future, but allows me to network with other students and alumni.

Along the way of achieving these goals I hope to grow and become more aware, maturing into a better and wiser person when I graduate.

Wesley Glen Game Night

I recently visited Wesley Glen and participated in their game night. Students were able to interact with the residents who live there as well as participate in Bingo and other fun games like Apples to Apples. This experience was very fun as I was given the opportunity to interact with members of the community while doing something enjoyable. I learned so much about the residents I had the pleasure to speak with. They frequently told us how young we are and opened up about their lives, like what their jobs were and about their families. This experience reminded me of all the opportunities we have in the future, and to make sure that we pick the opportunities that will make us better.
