Overholt Drainage School

The annual weeklong Overholt Drainage School provides agricultural drainage-focused education to a variety of audiences, including drainage contractors, professional engineers, consultants, district technicians, NRCS and agency professionals, landowners, and the general public. Training is provided by a team of experts from The Ohio State University, state and federal agencies, and industry partners. The training appeals to those with diverse interests in drainage, spanning topic areas including drainage design and installation, drainage economics, topographic mapping, drainage law, GPS surveying, drainage design software, and use of agricultural conservation practices to manage water quality.
