Need patient care hours for grad school?

My name is Carson Dentinger and I am a PCA at Ohio At Home Healthcare Agency.

Ohio At Home is a home healthcare agency that employs primarily Ohio State students and provides direct care services to individuals with developmental disabilities in central Ohio. Our agency supports clients ranging from children with autism to adults with paraplegia/quadriplegia.

Ohio At Home is currently looking to hire new in-home health aides from OSU’s Health and Rehabilitation Sciences program who have an interest in careers in healthcare and are looking to gain experience. This job can serve as a great opportunity to gain hours of patient care experience and to develop a network of colleagues and professional references.

I am contacting you to see if there is any way you could disperse a job description to your students through a weekly advising email or if there is another avenue I could pursue to try and inform students of the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences program about this job opportunity. Many of our current and past employees have been pre-PA, pre-OT, pre-PT, and pre-med and this job has been an excellent fit for them in terms of providing them with the professional skill development they need to formulate a strong graduate school application.

The email address to contact with the resume is

Thank you in advance for your time,

Carson Dentinger
