Volunteer Opportunity for HRS Students

Hello!

We are Camp Kesem at Ohio State, a student organization that works hard throughout the school year to put on week-long summer camps for children affected by a parent’s cancer. Camp Kesem is a national nonprofit with chapters at universities throughout the country that aims to support children through and beyond a parent’s cancer. We support our families year-round, including putting on a free week of summer camp.

Many of our members and counselors are HRS students, and we are currently looking for undergraduate students at Ohio State to serve as volunteers and members. There are many volunteer counselor positions at our summer camps available as well as a multitude of leadership positions throughout the school year. Anyone is welcome to join our community on campus, and no experience with children is necessary.

Thank you for your consideration. Please reach out to us with any questions you may have.

Best
