Job Opportunity: MedLife Spring Service Brigade

My name is Alex Kales and I’m the Recruitment Coordinator for a group on campus called MEDLIFE. MEDLIFE is a non-profit international student organization committed to helping underprivileged communities achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty by providing Medicine, Education, and Development to Low-Income Families Everywhere. This spring we are organizing a mobile clinic to Lima, Peru for interested Ohio State students within any major. During these trips, we will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of an incredible Spanish speaking country, work with local health care professionals to provide healthcare to remote communities surrounding the city, help combat public health issues such as STDs and parasites, as well as complete a development project to improve the lives of the communities we will be working in. This is a great opportunity for students of all kinds that would like to learn about health care in a developing country.

I believe students in  the Health Science Department would really be interested in attending our international brigades. If you have any questions about the trips, please feel free to contact our Brigade Chair Jessica Schumacher at schumacher.257@buckeyemail.osu.edu.
