STEM Elementary Volunteer Opportunity

My name is Nathan Zimovan and I am the president of Scientific Thinkers, a student org and volunteer program here at OSU. Through Scientific Thinkers, OSU students have the opportunity to:

·positively impact the Columbus community by teaching elementary students interactive STEM lessons and experiments

·mentor underrepresented minority students in STEM who have limited STEM resources within their school

·gain experience in teaching a unique age group

·increase their leadership skills, and

·expand their ability to communicate knowledge of STEM topics to a variety of age groups.

If students are interested they should attend a mandatory orientation on January 23 3-4pm in the Physics Research Building (PRB) which they can sign up for using this link:

The program is highly rewarding and is a great way to complete community service and outreach requirements. More information can be found on our website:

Please email Nathan if you have any questions.
