Explanation

Having tried to open a sealed bag of chip or other food one handed countless times I realize that even with two hands it proved to be a difficult task.  I decided to take this a step further that our team had thought initially and rethink the approach.  It was clear that even if one possessed the force to break the seal without a firm hold on the other side of the bag you couldn’t open it still.

I decided to harness the power of vacuum as the force that secures the other side of the bag allowing you to pull open with ease.

Three motion activated vacuum suction cups hold the side of the bag once the back is placed in front of the Bag-vac.

Lightly pulling on the other side of the bag, it begins tot open with ease as if you had another hand.

The Bag-Vac will be securely mounted on the wall preventing any loss of force as you pull.  The outer shell is made of steel for years of use while the vacuum suction cups are made of a rubberized plastic.  It is powered by a standard electrical outlet.
