Hospitality Listens

Event details will be announced at a later date. Please check back in fall 2025 for further information.

What is Hospitality Listens?

Hospitality Listens is a free dinner event designed for individuals on the autism spectrum and those with other disabilities, along with their families, where they can enjoy a fun night out to celebrate inclusion and genuine hospitality.

Planned by students in the Hospitality Management Program, this event provides an opportunity to apply their learning while making a meaningful impact on the community. Our goal is to develop future leaders who prioritize empathy, inclusivity, and excellence in the teams they will one day lead.

Guests can also participate in engaging activities throughout the evening, supported by student volunteers trained through OCALI’s Many Faces of Autism course to provide a welcoming and supportive experience. We understand that dining out can be challenging for families with members on the autism spectrum or other disabilities. We want to know more about what these families need in the hospitality industry; this event gives our community a platform to speak so that hospitality can listen.
