Hello, my name is Kayla Hooten. I’m a first year here at The Ohio State University Majoring in Medical Laboratory Science. I am a Health Science Scholar as well as a Morrill Scholar. I hale from Dayton, Ohio (Trotwood to be specific). My future plans for now are to become a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist, but this can be subject to change since I’m just a first year. A fun fact about me is that I’m an ex-Girl Scout. I was part of the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio from 4th grade until I graduated. I hope to grow in knowledge and understanding in my years here at The Ohio State, and to improve the world around me.
