The students selected for the REU program participated in a variety of professional development and skill building sessions throughout the summer while also working with their advisors to create and execute a research plan that answered a specific question about an aquatic ecosystem or fishery in Ohio.

Marley, along with her REU cohort, presented the results of their research on Friday, July 28. Marley’s project was titled, “Analysis of expert opinion and monitoring data indicates that reservoir littoral zone degradation decreases largemouth bass abundance.”
