Today started with a beautiful sunny day again in Choluteca. We got to sleep in before going to breakfast!! We will appreciate the reprieve while it lasts. We all got to check out a church here or stay at the hotel. The Catholic Church was hot but magnificent and the host church gave Jeff some great birthday wishes. Happy belated birthday Jeff!! Then we got to play with and visit the kids at a local foster home. It was an amazing and humbling experience. Next was our visit to the beach filled with fried fish and shrimp. We soaked in the water, basked in the sun, and some of us even took a banana boat ride. On the drive back we got to see some cows being herded down the road and finished the night with pizza. What a perfect ending to such a great day!!!
