My name is Tim Hogue and I am a student studying Aviation Management at The Ohio State University. I am currently sophomore looking to be employed in the aviation industry when I graduate.
During my first two years at Ohio State I have already gained a lot of knowledge and experience about the aviation industry. This past Summer I studied abroad at Korea Aerospace University with students from all over the world. There, I took classes on Aviation Safety and Security and Airline Management and Operations. I am also a member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). The Ohio State University chapter of AAAE tours airports and other aviation related industries to gain more knowledge from various aviation professionals. We also raise money to go to the AAAE national conference. Last summer the conference was held in Reno, Nevada. There, we talked to and networked with mostly airport management professionals to hopefully have as many connections as possible after we graduate.
As of now I am open to any entry level position in the aviation industry. However, my medium and long term goals are to eventually have a management position at an airport.
