Events Around Campus

  • Interested in marching in this year’s Latino Heritage Month Parade? Sign up! We are working with the Campus ERG group OLE and our Latino Medical Student Association to recruit interested members to march together. We will be creating t-shirts for the group. If interested in join, please register using this survey. Please send to any other Latino WMC or campus groups you may feel would be interested!

Professional Development Opportunities

  • Festival Latino Volunteering Opportunities – August 10, 2024 – August 11, 2024. There are still opportunities to volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, contact Bibiana Bishop directly for more information.
    • Available times – Saturday from 10 to 2 pm & 2 to 6pm and Sunday 10 to 2 pm & 2 to 6 pm.
  • Apply for the Staff Leadership Series – The Women’s Place is accepting applications for the 2024-25 Staff Leadership Series (SLS), a 12-month, experiential leadership initiative (more information attached). Click HERE to learn more on how to apply and the program expectations.
