Study Tips

STUDY TIPS

Basic tips that I really would’ve liked to have known about before starting my first semester here

  • Find a place where you can work effectively, but make sure it’s easily accessible
  • Form a study group, find people you like in class and try to get together to help each other out with things the group might not understand
  • Get tutoring early if you need it, don’t wait until halfway through the semester to get the help you need
  • Set schedules to study, and don’t change them (limit exceptions)
  • Use every resource you have available, professors and homework are both great ways to keep up with your course work
  • Find time to relax, don’t let yourself get burnt out
  • Find a good music playlist to listen to, ambiance can help you tune out other distractions
  • Make sure you eat before studying, don’t get distracted or cut your study time
