WHY DO I DO IT?

Beginning in my sophomore year of high school, it was my job in the yearbook committee to take photos of the events that went on throughout the year and document them in our book. I quickly grew a fascination with capturing a single moment with the click of a button, and being able to hold onto it forever. For Christmas that next year I received my own DSLR camera, and my fascination grew. This allowed me to take photos for family members, and to grow my knowledge with photography. My freshman year at The Ohio State University at Mansfield, I took the photography course to learn more about taking the best pictures that I possibly could. With this new knowledge, I continue to photograph anything around me and my family. Being able to capture beautiful moments in our everyday lives is what keeps my love for photography growing. Since I began taking photos, I have noticed such growth in them and that inspires me to keep going and keep learning. I do this because of the collection of memories that can be created. A single moment can be held onto forever with one click, even if that moment is forgotten.
