Throughout my course at osu, I have gained technological advantages from the course as well as my peers. In today’s society, our world is beginning to utilize technology more and more. There’s not much we can do about this except to adapt to the new change. In school, we use many websites, databases, gadgets, and online tools to enhance our performance and manage our lives in and out of school. In this section, will express my knowledge of three technology associated enhancement and their cons.
I will first like to talk about an app called Study Scheduler Study Scheduler (Links to an external site.). Study scheduler is basically an online calendar that allows you to make blocks of time to do certain tasks as well as get notifications. The overall concept of the app is ideal for people who dont like planners and would like something digital. Although the concept is cool, I feel like there are more options I would prefer.
The second technological tool I used through this course is called Trello https://trello.com/ . This online application does a great job of keeping you on track. The app is less of a calendar and more of a task organizer that can help you track the tasks you need to finish each day, week, or month and it will allow you to see progress. I think the thing I love about this application the most is that you can see the process that you’re making.
Lastly, I recently bought myself an Ipad from the apple store www.apple.com/. This iPad has helped color code my notes, keep things organized, go paperless, record lectures and I also use it to organize my lifestyle as well. It is a little pricy which would be the bad part about it but if you save up or have the means to buy it I think its a great investment!
