Greetings! My name is Eric Henderson, and I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
Although I studied at The Ohio State University, I am from Youngstown, Ohio. I attended a large public high school named Austintown Fitch, where I graduated valedictorian in the class. I participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including four years of marching and symphonic band as a trombone player, four years of varsity swimming where I earned two letter recognitions, and even founded a Science Fiction enthusiast club my senior year! Outside of class, I participated in the Boy Scouts of America program and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in December 2016. After graduation, I originally pursued a physics degree but switched to Computer Science after enjoying and gaining exposure to the discipline from my introductory coding courses.
I have always been an effective task organizer and time manager, beginning assignments in school or work as soon as I receive them. I am diligent with my routine and pride myself in my ability manage intensive workloads.
In my personal life, I am a die-hard Star Wars fan, and I also really appreciate Lord of the Rings and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I have played Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft MMORPG for the past 15+ years, and have become such a passionate fan of the entire Warcraft franchise as a result. I also thoroughly enjoy strategy games, including Civilization V on my PC or Axis and Allies the board game. I routinely exercise to stay in shape by running and working out. Finally, I am a giant college football fan, and I love to analyze and predict the rankings while watching as many games each week as I can!
My current goals include continuing to advance my career to spend more time with my passions and travel the world, including visiting England, Spain, Greece, China, and even Egypt.
