About Me

Hello! I recently graduated with my Masters of Pharmacology, and I am taking additional courses to increase my knowledge of toxicology. For this blog, I chose topics that were relatively unknown to me so that I could learn about different sources of toxicity. This includes a pesticide, a metal, a solvent, and a plant/animal source. Please enjoy!

Cornell’s video on chemical exposure in daily life:

“What is the link between chemical compounds used in consumer products and migrating birds? How can fibers hundreds of times thinner than a human hair be built into fast, inexpensive, easy to use disease detectors? Can exposure to environmental chemicals increase incidences of obesity and diabetes? Cornell’s top researchers are working on answering these intriguing and provocative questions.

Join Cornell’s thought leaders in a conversation on chemical exposure in everyday life to understand how this research affects your well-being and your environment.”
