2021 P&G Summer Apprenticeship

Another year, another P&G apprenticeship. This summer, I worked for a P&G brand–Charmin. A big change from last year: not just because of the work I was doing, but also because I got to go to the office!

The specific area I worked in was Analytics & Insights. I took a consumer insight the team discovered and applied it to the Charmin brand. I talked to dozens of P&G employees and even did some basic consumer research. Who knew toilet paper could be so complex?

Proud of the brand I worked for!

I also got to know my fellow apprentices better. I won the “Best Big Sibling Award” at the P&G CIBSI Banquet. I learned a lot from this amazing experience!

The other apprentices and I got to meet in person this year!

2020 P&G Summer Apprenticeship

Though STANDOUT was virtual, we still found ways to make it interactive and exciting!

Over the summer of 2020, I worked with Procter and Gamble’s Human Resources department to plan STANDOUT: Emerging Leaders Camp. The program is a three day long recruiting event designed to attract diverse talent to P&G.

Although meant to be in-person, we had to transition the entire event to a virtual format because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I communicated with an outside agency, collected and sorted PII for over 200 attendees, and assembled a video with past attendees. I also took and edited hundreds of photos of Cincinnati to be shown to the students at the event.
