Healthcare can be defined as “every aspect, service and device for taking care of your health’. It is the industry of medicine as well as the processes that take place within the industry. I say industry, because that is exactly what it is in the United States.
It is a hybrid industry- some parts public, and some parts private- that is set up for profit above all else.
