Call for Abstracts GRS 2024

2024 Horticulture and Crop Science Graduate Research Symposium
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 

  

The 2024 HCS-GSA GRS will be taking place on March 21st & 22nd, 2024 at the CEARC in Columbus.

  All OSU students, staff, faculty, visiting scholars, and family are invited to attend the symposium. HCS staff, faculty, and non-competing students and scholars are encouraged to participate as judges and non-competing presenters.

Only graduate students working for HCS faculty’s labs are eligible to participate in the Flash Talk Competition (Categories: Research and Proposal)

Winners will receive monetary awards. See the attached flow chart to help you decide between a research and proposal talk here.

HCS staff, faculty, and non-competing students and scholars are encouraged to participate as judges and non-competing presenters. A separate link will be provided for abstract and presentation submissions for competition and non-competition participants.

Visit other pages on our website under the “Graduate Research Symposium” tab to review the schedule, competition guidelines, and rubrics. Points will be deducted for violations of the guidelines.

Registration deadline is Monday, February 12th. Everyone who plans to attend the symposium must complete the registration form by February 12th.

If you are presenting a flash talk, please complete the registration form by Monday, February 12th, and submit your abstract by Friday, February 23th.

 

Judges Needed! – We are seeking faculty, staff, students, visiting scholars, and post-docs to serve as judges for the flash talk competition. If you are interested, please sign up in the registration form by Monday, February 12th, 2024.
