Artifacts

[Artifacts are the items you consider to be representative of your academic interests and achievements. For each entry, include both an artifact and a detailed annotation.  An annotation includes both a description of the artifact and a reflection on why it is important to you, what you learned, and what it means for your next steps.  For more guidance on using your ePortfolio, including questions and prompts that will help you get started, please visit the Honors & Scholars ePortfolio course in Carmen. G.O.A.L.S.

G.O.A.L.S.

  • Global Awareness:  I hopefully plan to study abroad sometime while I am attending OSU.  I think it would be a great opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture and have new experiences that I otherwise wouldn’t get to experience.
  • Original Inquiry: I would like to get involved in research I have not yet begun looking into different research programs but I’m sure there is one I would be interested in joining.  Research is an awesome way to get involved in the University and make a difference.
  • Academic Enrichment: I have chosen to be a Biology major as I love biology and finding out how different systems and processes of the body actually work.  I am also taking coursework that is intensive and challenging as I am in the honors program.
  • Leadership Development: I was involved with intramural soccer earlier this year and was a leader and a voice on the team, there are plenty of opportunities to become a leader all over campus with so many clubs and teams to join.
  • Service Engagement: I have not been involved in service up to this point but I am helping out with the blood drive at Lincoln Tower and I will be trying to get involved in other service opportunities such as Buckeyethon and others.

Career
